Brief of Select tester valve
The select tester valve as the main tester valve for the well testing service is operated by the annulus pressure. The select tester valve is composed with ball valve section, nitrogen section, upper hydraulic section and the metering section.

The inspection procedure and requirement of the select tester valve
1. Rotating section test
Clamp the operating connector, install the selector and steel ball, move the selector forward and rotate it to inspect whether the rotating part is flexible.
2. Collet fingers startup and pressure test
2.1 Assemble the parts above the collet nipple (item 25) (the upper adapter and the ball valve case are not included). The operating mandrel should be above the top of ported nipple and the ball valve is closed.
2.2 Connect sensor, stop valve, pressure test pipeline and hydraulic test pump to the operating port of the ported nipple.
3. Nitrogen chamber assembly,Nitrogen charging and Pressure sealing test
- Install the nitrogen chamber
- Inject 100ml 20# silicone oil into nitrogen chamber.
- Nitrogen sealing test
4. Injecting oil
Inject oil into the lower oil chamber
Lean the tool with the bottom higher than the top. Inject oil and inspect the oil return pipe line. If there is no bubble and the oil piston is at the bottom, remove the pipe lines and screw the fluid plug on
5. Install the ball valve section and the upper adapter.
Install the ball valve in open position and finish installation
6. Function test
- Normal operating mode test
- Locked-open operating mode test
- The sealing test of the upper part of ball valve
- The sealing test of the lower part of ball valve
- Ball valve opening test with pressure
